Ladies & Gentleman, Friend or Foe. Since the destruction of the banquet room and for some the food at the Double Play Bar & Grill. I and others have pursued other facility to accommodate our needs. I think I have found the perfect place (with help) for our needs  and who we are. As we know, we worked on a historical vehicle. Plus it's the only moving National Historic Landmark. So the facility should be a historic landmark.My proposal is John's Grill (www.johnsgrill.com). I talked to the manager a week ago, after a lovely meal. This is the email he sent me:

Hi Robert,

Sorry for getting back to you late, here's some info for your lunch group of around 30 people. Your group will be seated in upstairs dining room with $100 room fee. For menu $20++ per person, I'd suggest lunch salad, entree choice of Pacific Red Snapper - Grilled, beurre blanc or Chicken Dijonnaise - Sauteed with mushrooms, wine, garlic and Dijon cream

Please let me know what you think about this menu.

30 people Meal $600. ($20. per) Room $100. ($3.33 per) Taxes $59.50 ($1.98 per) (Tip 19% $25.32) ($.89 per) = $786. 

That comes to $26.20 (meal + Room + Tip).

I'm thinking if we get this rolling, they will be talking about us into the 22nd Century. Plus we could go around the corner and take a group picture on the cable car and maybe we can get a wall in John's to hang them.
